Hey I believe most would have been done with sheets of acrylic that can be heated and bent into shape. Seperates the sand so its harder for runners!

the tank at 0:40 looks really dirty maybe its the wood, but if thats the case then the aquascaper should have preped the wood the right way. or it could be because the light is orange on purpose. but idk

Anybody has any idea as to how they keep the creeping plants like hairgrass or HC from growing onto the white gravel/sand they have in some of the tanks. I’m thinking of re-scaping my tank soon and i wanna re-create those white sand pathways that they do so nicely in some of the set-ups.
Thanks in advance =)

Ive gotta be honest and say while they look good I couldn’t help but notice a lack of fish and where the fish were present they were all quite small.
I think aquascaping has to strike a balance between fish and the environment. Too much of one or the other just looks odd imho

i believe the red plant at 1:11 is Ludwigia arcuata which can grow red under high lighting or the right strain. another similar plant is rotala macaranda “red”. thanks

0:39 is a biotype where it tries to replica a natural environment, i wouldnt have added it but the person who entered, entered in the wrong section lol

i LOVE how some of these aquariums display real life images. such as a road through a cannon.
